We’re beyond excited to announce the launch of a new and big project, Q-Lit, a queer Victorian Festival of Words.
Alongside writer and academic Dr Kate Hall the project has been developing for nearly a year. It’s an exciting opportunity to celebrate, amplify and strengthen the queer writers community across Victoria.
With funding from Midsumma and the Victorian Government we have workshops, masterclasses and showcases planned for the first 6 months of 2023…
15th Jan – Ballarat
21st Jan – Shepparton
22nd Jan – Traralgon
12th Feb – Victoria’s Pride / Collingwood
April – Geelong & Warrnambool
This festival will be open to queer writers from many different art forms and they’re currently looking for expressions of interest for upcoming and future events. If you or a friend dabbles in any of the following art forms, as a hobby or professionally, get them to fill out this EOI – https://forms.gle/JAdJPbt5BH5BY4bn9
