Burrinja are proud and super excited to share with you that the temporary public artwork Carabiner Bench (Nature found no fault with me) has been successfully installed at Birdsland Reserve in Belgrave Heights!

You are invited to the… ARTWORK LAUNCH at Carabiner Bench, Birdsland Reserve, Sunday, Oct 8, 1 – 2 pm. The event will include a welcome to country and feature performances, speeches and the formal launch of this special artwork. Light catering, non-alcoholic bubbles and a signature Carabiner Bench Mocktail will be provided.

Then following on from that you are invited to the QUEER ART PARTY (Launch after party) at Burrinja, The Lyre Room, Oct 8, 3 – 5 pm.
LGBTQIA+ folks and their friends, families and allies are invited to celebrate QAC’s success at our Queer Art Party directly following the launch event.
Join us back at the Lyre Room at Burrinja for music from Dj Eadie (they/them), artwork screenings from QAC Collaborators and queer performance art by drag performers Mora Money (she/they) & Zero (she/he).
A bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
