Transgender Teddy Bears’ Picnic

Join Transgender Victoria (TGV) and other transgender and gender diverse groups to celebrate Transgender day of visibility. They are having a picnic on Saturday 1st of April 2017 to which all transgender and gender diverse people and their allies and teddy bears are most welcome.

Please bring something to eat and something to drink and join TGV on the lawn between the BBQs and the bandstand at the Hoddle Street end of the Darling Gardens in Clifton Hill. To add to the teddy bears’ Picnic vibe, Jess Walton will read from her book “introducing teddy”, the story of a transgender teddy bear.

The Clifton Hill train station is close by as is the number 86 Bundoora tram. There are also bus services along Hoddle Street. Ample parking is also usually available.

Have your say! :D
