ABOUT THE VISIBILITY PARTY
Spend an evening surrounded by trans and gender diverse folks and allies, with pop-up performances by trans artists, all in the gorgeous queer venue Hares & Hyenas.
Check out the venue decked out in trans flags, artworks by trans and gender diverse artists, and make new friends!
Featuring spoken word and poetry by Artemis Munoz & Nevo Zisin, with an open mic if audience members feel like sharing something of their own.

TGV and Parents of Gender Diverse Children are hosting a young people space in the back room of Hares & Hyenas for youth and kids to celebrate their Trans Day of Visibility!
Featuring active games from 12-1PM (during the panel discussion in the main room), and craft activities until 4PM.
Bring your kids and friends and chill out with arts and crafts!

TGV is hosting a vibrant panel discussion in partnership with Hares & Hyenas bookshop and 3CR Community Radio 855AM / Digital and streaming on 3cr.org.au for Transgender Day of Visibility 2019. On 31 March 2019, join moderator Mama Alto and a gorgeous panel of trans and gender diverse PoC advocates, writers, and artists for a stirring and much-needed discussion about visibility for trans people of colour.
Please arrive promptly at 11:30AM to be settled and seated by 12PM for the panel start. Please ensure to register for a seat, tickets available: waged and unwaged (concession).

This venue is a cafe/bookshop during the day and a licenced venue in the evenings. There will be alcohol for sale but it is completely optional, and no alcohol will be served to attendees or provided for free. Under 18s are welcome to attend the DAY activities.
