The following survey will ask you about your experiences and perceptions of using taxi and rideshare services in Australia. It will include questions about your attitudes and experiences of safety and unwanted sexual attention, racism, homophobia, transphobia and other types of harassment when using taxis and rideshare services, including mobile apps for booking rides. The researchers are interested in anything that you personally experienced as being harassment, not with any particular legal definition.
These experiences might include interactions that you have had either with a driver or with another passenger (such as through Uber Pool). You can complete this survey even if you have not experienced any types of harassment, as your views about safety when using taxi and rideshare services are still valuable.
