Federation Square
Toilets
Federation Square has at least one Gender Neutral, Accessible public toilet. The one we’re thinking of is entered via the doorway by the 7/11 store, near the corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets.
Palace Cinemas, Westgarth
Toilets
The toilets are at the South end of the building. Wheelchairs should enter from the northern-most door. So you can go in and see a movie in the knowledge you can also be genderqueer. They also have a pretty nice cafe.
Bluff Town
Toilets
Bluff Town single stall toilet is marked as ‘Unisex’ and ‘Ambulant’, which are to the rear of the cafe, which is near Sandringham railway station.
District Brewer
Toilets
District Brewer opened in January 2015 and operated seven days a week. It has a single accessible toilet at the back of the cafe, which you access through a gate.
Multicultural Hub
Toilets
Found opposite Victoria Market, the Multicultural hub appears open 6 days a week (so probably not Sundays). Toilets are upstairs in the building. There is an elevator so they are theoretically Accessible to wheelchairs.
All Nations Park via Burt Street
Toilets
This is an Exceloo “Electric Loo” at the end of Burt Street in Northcote. I expect it’ll be open 24/7 and appears one of the few publicly accessible gender neutral toilets in the area. It’s just opposite the end of Burt Street and beside the kid’s playground.
