In light of the Family First Bill in NSW and the imminent reintroduction of the religious freedom bill, a research team from the University of Tasmania and the University of Sydney have recently launched a national survey which looks at the experience of LGBT+ workers in education, health and social welfare organisations which are religiously affiliated.
The survey is part of their overall research project which aims to identify strategies to manage tensions between LGBT+ rights and religious freedom in Australia.
