Queerspace Casting for New Doco

No photo description available.

Queerspace are looking for participants for a new documentary about the trans experience in high school, from trans and queer writer-director AP Pobjoy.

The aim is to make a documentary that tells the story of transgender students around Australia as they go through highschool in 2022. The project will be filmed by the participants themselves, giving them a voice and the opportunity to share their experiences.

They are looking for high-school students aged between 15-17 in Year 10 -12 who identify as transgender, non-binary, agender or gender diverse. If you or someone you know might be interested, please contact us at https://buff.ly/3Kk6dB7 and tell them a bit about who you are, and what your school experience looks like. Any initial contact will be informal and confidential, so feel free to say hi and ask any questions!

Now, here’s a bit about the organisers:
AP Pobjoy (They/them)
A trans and queer writer-director based in Sydney. AP is the director behind ADG nominated ABC documentary, Why Did She Have To Tell The World? Their work has been recognised by The Age, Global Citizen and Archer Magazine.
