The Log Books is an award-winning history of LGBTQ+ life in Britain as noted by volunteers at the helpline, Switchboard London. It offers a unique insight into the range of issues facing LGBTQ+ people in Britain in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Each episode of The Log Books podcast centres around log book entries made by the volunteers who staffed the phones from the charity’s very first day.
Fun fact: Switchboard London is the parent of Switchboard Victoria! It was originally inspired by our founder, David Sampson who realised that there was an unmet need in the community when he first arrived in Melbourne.
