Not ‘just like us’: A study of how queers read celebrity media

Queer_Confusion_03A PhD student at the University of Sydney is seeking queer and LGBTI identified adults (18+) and adult peer groups for a study on the consumption of celebrity media.

You and your peers could be devout fans, people who occasionally read a news article on a celebrity, or those who idly flip through celebrity magazines at the doctor’s surgery.

The research will be conducted in focus groups among groupings of peers (between 3-6 people), so if you and your peers are interested in participating, could each of you please fill out this expression of interest form, and the researcher will contact you to set up a focus group discussion in your city or town.
