LGBTI+ Suicide Prevention Service User Consultations

Thorne Harbour Health, in partnership with Mind Equality Centre, will be developing training for Victorian mental health services and first responders to better assist LGBTIQA+ folks accessing suicide support.

NEW DATES ADDED – 26 June (12-2PM), 2 July (6-8PM), 3 July (6-8PM), 4 July (12-2PM)

They are seeking consultation with LGBTIQA+ community members who:

  • Have a lived experience of suicide or mental distress
  • Would like to share their experience with our peer trainer
  • Are available for one 2-hour focus group in Melbourne

Participants will be reimbursed for their time participating in a focus group.

Members from bisexual, transgender and gender diverse
communities are particularly encourage to participate in this important consultation.
