To everyone at Genderqueer
I wanted to let you know about an exciting upcoming event happening just prior to the Pride March in St Kilda.
It is a chance to celebrate the big steps taken forward in Equality with the Minister for Equality, Martin Foley, over a glass of bubbles.
The Andrews Government has delivered on equality in the past year. There was the establishment and appointment of Victoria’s first Gender and Equality Commissioner, Rowena Allen, the passing of legislation which allows for same-sex adoption and the removal of Section 19 of the Crimes Act.
This was just Part One of their agenda for equality.
So if you are interested in the upcoming agenda in this space for 2016 or you have suggestions of your own, this is an opportunity to join in the conversation.
We would appreciate it if you would please share this invitation with your members or anyone who may be interested. Hope to see you on the day.

Note: As Genderqueer Australia is non-political, we won’t be in attendance, but anyone who can afford the ticket price is welcome to go along!
