Are you interest in participating in the ‘Safety, Risk and Wellbeing on Digital Dating Apps’ research project? Swinburne University of Technology is collaborating with community organisations in Victoria to run workshops and interviews with trans, including gender diverse and non-binary, people aged 18-35 who use apps for dating and hooking up.
Participants will be invited to share their perceptions of different dating and hook-up apps through group discussion and activities. All discussions will be confidential, and participants will not need to discuss their personal use of apps. Conversations and activities may be audio-recorded or photographed (subject to your consent), but you will not be identified by name, and photographs will not include faces. You can opt out of being photographed and still participate.
Workshops will be offered in Melbourne CBD and regional Victoria. Interviews will be held in Melbourne. Participants will be given a $50 shopping voucher as thanks for their time.
Please visit the EOI page and complete the form before Sunday, 19 January, 2020.
