Grumms, a trans/genderqueer theatre artist from Melbourne, is going to be bringing their queer solo-show, “Something in the Water” to the Adelaide Fringe this summer.
The show is a physical comedy (with puppets!) about their experience growing up/coming out as trans, as told through the metaphor of turning into a giant squid monster. Because of its themes, it’s an incredibly valuable show for gender diverse and queer youth, adults and their loved ones to see.
There will also be a couple of live streamed performances for those who aren’t able to join in person in Adelaide. The show runs from 2-7 & 16-21 March at 8:20pm at the Black Box Theatre, with family-friendly matinees on 13 & 14 March (4:40pm). It will be a relaxed performance and Auslan interpreted performances.
