
queerspace (drummond street services) is seeking an experienced professional to provide counselling and case management to people within LGBTIQ+ communities who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing family and intimate partner violence.
queerspace is an LGBTIQ+ specialist health and well-being service, which provides a range of supports including counselling, groupwork, peer-based recovery support and case work, to individuals, people in relationships, and to children and young people and their families. queerspace offers a safe and supportive space for queer, trans and gender diverse and gender questioning people to engage in counselling, family therapy, group support services and supports for their families. queerspace also provides specialist family and intimate partner violence services to LGBTIQ+ people experiencing or at risk of these forms of violence. As part of our work in this sector, we also train and provide consultancy services to the broader family and intimate partner violence sector.
The queerspace Practitioner, will join a growing LGBTIQ+ specialist program within drummond street services.
