Breast screening for LGBTI people (VIC)

In support of BreastScreen Victoria’s commitment to accessible and inclusive screening, we hold regular, dedicated LGBTI screening sessions, Rainbow Rose.

Rainbow Rose sessions are between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm on the following days:

  • Thursday, 21 May
  • Thursday, 20 August
  • Thursday, 19 November

LGBTI people between the high-risk ages of 50-74 are highly encouraged to attend, but screening is available for people aged 40 and over. Appointments take 10 minutes, are free, conducted by a woman, and do not need a GP’s referral or Medicare card.
