Extending beyond the cis- and heteronormative perceptions of masculinity, the afternoon will showcase the flourishing, challenging, and most importantly, lived experiences of masculine identity from our QTIBIPOC** community.
Whether you’re QTIBIPOC or an ally, you are welcome to join DEiFY at The Front Cáfe (Lyneham) on Saturday 23rd July, 4:30 PM to: Pick up a copy of the printed zine and check out the works of nine local and international QTIBIPOC community members!
Watch a special performance from local drag king legend, Ravi Oli @ravi_oli__ (and maybe a sneaky poetry reading!)
Share a drink and chat amongst other community members! Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at the café.
This launch is FREE and NOT autonomous, so anyone and everyone is invited. Don’t worry if you can’t make the launch – an online copy of the zine will be available too!
Donations will be accepted at the event to help us cover the costs of printing and to help provide more events for the QTIBIPOC community in future.
As always with DEiFY events, if you are coming alone and would like to be linked up with a buddy, let it be known in the event form!
