Fertility preservation for Australian transgender and non-binary people

Medical – by Rose Moore

We have been approached to share this email with you on behalf of Dr Damien Riggs and Dr Clare Bartholomaeus, researchers at Flinders University who are currently conducting a study on fertility preservation for Australian transgender and non-binary people.

The study aims to understand decision making about fertility preservation and experiences of fertility preservation amongst transgender and non-binary adults, and amongst parents of transgender and non-binary children. Participants (or their children) do not need to have undertaken fertility preservation to participate. Full information about the study is available at the link below.

The study has been approved by the Flinders University Social and Behavioural Research Ethics Committee, Project no. 7867. You are welcome to contact Dr Riggs directly if you have any questions about the study: damien.riggs@flinders.edu.au

You are also welcome to share the survey details with anyone else you think may be interested in participating.

The survey and full information can be accessed via this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TNBfertility
