Bits and Bods was founded in 2015 when a bunch of young cis women – from design, communication and public health backgrounds – realised how much they hadn’t learnt during their high school sex ed classes. The platform allows teenagers to hear directly from real people, sharing their own experiences to breakdown the taboos surrounding sexuality.
The main part of the project is a web series that will be launched online in early 2017. You can see our trailer here.
Bits and Bods are currently recruiting participants for their next round of interviews that will be filmed on 12-13 November in Melbourne. They are looking to interview cis women, intersex, trans* and gender diverse people aged 18-30 (ish) about sex, puberty, bodies and relationships. The interviews will be filmed in a venue that is fully accessible.
If anyone is interested in being interviewed, or becoming involved in the project in any way, they should contact Joanna Williams on 0468 766 366 or firstname.lastname@example.org to see a copy of the interview questions.
